About Me: Thanks for visiting my mini-Arab Lounge world. Here is a random selection of observations and facts that might give you a coherent picture of my personality. And if not, just ask! First up, I am happy. Much has gone right in my life and I am grateful for everything in it, only occasionally getting grumpy due to long lines or loud noise. I enjoy a wide variety of activities, with some lifelong hobbies (traveling, theater, tae bo), and others that come and go on a very flimsy whim (gardening, home improvement). I work and live within a three mile radius, that optimal distance that is just a bit too long to walk while half-asleep! I have sparkly eyes that appreciate humor but can also spot insincerity a mile away. Confidence is important to me, and I try to increase it without getting carried away with my own importance. Most mornings I wake up secure in the knowledge that there are people out there that love me with all their heart (ok, ok, my mother and my best friend!!) Big dreams are my constant companions but I don't mind getting distracted by a fleeting pleasure either. And it's usually in the form of chocolate! The person I would like to meet has no conceit, a kind heart, a pathway forward leading from a past with lessons learned along the way. I appreciate those who question the media, trust their instincts and give wholeheartedly of their loyalty. Drop me a line! Though it would really help if you lived in the immediate DC area.
