The agony of having to write one of these "personals" makes resume writing seem almost fun. I've rewritten this a couple of time and it just never really me. Frankly, I don't think any of us is in a position to describe ourselves. Any description of me, seems to be valid for about a couple of minutes. I reread it and it isn't me. Maybe that is why horoscopes are so popular; they provide people with a convenient ready made personality. Here's an attempt: I'm smart, funny and active. I'm a deep thinker and an avid reader, while physically active in kendo (fencing), mountain biking and snowboarding. I have strong far Left political leanings. Looking For: I would like to meet someone unconventional in their way of thinking, with a childlike curiosity. They allow their thoughts to go off on confusing tangents. Someone not too opinionated (but who isn't?). Tolerant of differences. Someone able to laugh at themselves, and able to forgive themselves. I'm not interested in someone who refers to her self as a "cutie", considers shopping one of her hobbies, or looking to be treated like a princess by "her man". I respect a woman who can laugh, almost unattractively, out of control.
