I'm a nerdy yet fun, nature lover/ anthropologist/artist. I like to see the beautiful, ideal, and good in everything, but I am also critical of injustice, mediocrity, and intolerance everywhere. I like to take the best of both "American" and "Arab" cultures to create my ideals, lifestyle, and perspective. I would love to have more Arab-American friends : ) I beleive that laughing is good for the soul and so is good food and excercise, especially yoga and dance. I love going to museums, parks, theaters, and coffeeshops. I love learning about all the beautiful creatures on this earth, plants and animals, and I have great respect for sciences (including the oft forgotten and little respected social sciences) and all disciplines of study and inquiry. I am grateful for living and being here at this time and hope that humans find better ways of limiting their negative effects on our planet. In my life, in whatever I do, I strive for peace and justice in whatever way I can. I beleive in community/independant media. The United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights states " Everyone has the right to recognition everwhere as a person before the law." It is interesting to note that all major religions in the world proclaim this very same thing. I hope to see the world fulfilling this one day, InshAllah. Looking For: I am seeking an intelligent & open-minded male individual to share in life and it's beauty, challenges, humor, and wonder. Someone who is tolerant of people and ideas and enjoys nature, art, music, books, traveling, etc. Who is also a healthy individual in terms of lifestyle & mentality. Must like cats( I have one) and little people (aka children). I prefer someone who drives a fuel-efficient car, democrats, spiritual persons, and non- materialists please.
