Looking for friends in this new city

Having spent the past 5 years in the Middle East, in Dubai/Abu Dhabi and Bahrain, I have returned to England to enjoy mother nature. Living in a desert really does make you miss the great outdoors, yet ironically work has brought me to the smog of a new city; London. I love spending time with friends and particulary love travelling, horseriding, countryside walks and being in the kitchen (when time permits!). A perfect evening for me would consist of a nice dinner and great conversation. Although I live in central London, I tend to spend weekends in various parts of UK, exploring some of the hidden gems and small villages. It would be nice to get to know someone who is looking for a relationship, who perhaps doesn't mind a girl who is 50:50 when it comes to country/city life....(I'm sure that statistic could waver for the right coffee house in a vibrant city) Anyway, I look forward to meeting some new friends here on AL.
