Very hopeful

Well, I think it is natural to find it difficult to talk about oneself but I'll try. I enjoy the finer things in life but I am still a big fan of taking a walk in the old alleys of Cairo (when I visit) and having a ``really bad for your health'' meal. I very much love traveling and am lucky with a profession that allows me ample opportunity to do so. I have had a reasonable coverage of Europe, the middle east, North America and Australia. Asia still need more work while Africa and South America remain virgin continents for me. I am a big fan of culture; museums, art galleries, concerts, etc... but do not have as much time as I would like for it. I would love to have more time for playing soccer and tennis as well. I am considered a nerdish intellectual by many since I love my academic work and enjoy reading a lot. I used to engage into a lot of debates about culture, philosophy, and politics but seem to be less interested in this activity recently. As for my career, I am a Professor of Computer Engineering and consider myself very lucky to be *in love* with my work. What else do you want to know? Please feel free to ask.
