Insights
Describe the perfect evening.
If I am alone, I would like to have a cup of tea and watch a movie. If I have company, it depends on what we decide together to do. We can take walks. We can just stay home and watch a movie. I am open to ideas.
Describe your perfect weekend.
It depends on whether I am alone or not. If I have nothing to do and I am alone, I can just go and play a match of ping pong or take a walk in the mall or sit home and watch a movie. If I have company, it depends on what we decide together to do.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
I am a logical person. My past experience is that love evolves gradually. A spontaneous relation tends to be more of an infatuation that cannot stand the test of time.
How many kids would you like to have?
I already have 2 teenage children. I have not thought of having more children.
How important is someone's physical appearance to you?
Physical appearance is not everything. Chemistry is more important. Mutual understanding and personal values matter more. I cannot deny that appearance is a factor nevertheless.
If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
Stop the wars.
What is the purpose of marriage?
There is no better and more stable relationship than a marriage between two understanding adults. Children grow up and leave home to pursue their own dreams. Friends move around. Two married people who love each other are there for each other all the time.
What is the most important lesson that you've learned?
Do unto others what you want them to do unto you.
What do your friends like about you most?
Trustworthiness.
What do your friends tease you about the most?
Nothing comes to mind.
What gets on your nerves?
Laziness, sloppiness.
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
Trust and mutual respect.
What's the best age to get married?
Aside from wanting to have children, age is a number. Two people who have mutual understanding and who understand what marriage means should be able to get married, provided that each person is of the maturity to understand what a married relationship implies so that he/she does not have regrets.
What turns you off?
Disrespect for anybody old or young. That includes one's belief system. We should always respect others and their belief. It goes back to the golden rule. Do unto others what you want them to do unto you.
What turns you on?
Sincere kindness.
What do you hope to be doing five years from now?
Only God knows what will happen in five years. I take life day by day these days.
