People who know me well would describe me as someone who's intelligent, successful, full of compassion towards others, giving, puts others before himself, opinionated, hard-worker, open-minded, cultured, educated, target-oriented, organized, very clean, cares about the way he looks, and particular in my taste. They would also say that I am extremely honest (sometimes to a fault), very straight-forward. I, like many out there, have many issues with organized religion and with the deteriorating state churches have reached. However, God is a very important person in my life. He is my best and most faithful friend. So while I am a bit turned off sometimes by what I find inside many churches, I try not to let that keep me away from maintaining a good relationship with God. You can really say that I have my own version of religion and religious beliefs. Like everything else pretty much, I have the 'David's way' or 'David's version' of religious beliefs. That is hard to explain here. You will just have to get to know me to understand it. By the way, I grew up Eastern Orthodox since I was born and raised in Egypt. And that is the church which I still choose to go to and belong to. On the negative side, my friends would say that I am stubborn, tend to have extreme (black or white) views on many things in the world, can come across as harsh or offensive sometimes when defending myself, and have the tendency to be easily hurt or too sensitive around those whom I love.
