Just out of curiosity...

As my handle indicates, I'm a dork. I'm also pretty driven when it comes to things I believe in and am devoted to those I love. Family is first, unless they're dipping into The Crazy. I go out of my way to make people feel good (so long as this doesn't warrant that I go against my own beliefs) and to ensure that I always work hard to understand the other's perspective in any given situation. One of my greatest faults is that I tend to be too kind. Also, I like to learn all the time about anything and everything...I'm sort of like that little monkey: Curious George. Only, I'm not a monkey. Oh! But I am a social butterfly and can manage and handle any situation I face (as my mother would say: "Thanks God for that!"). Yalla, thanks to you for taking the time to read this. Looking For: Apart from stating the obvious: funny, nurturing, patient, caring and always looking to learn more about everything and anything. Curiosity may have killed the cat but it never killed the romance (or so I hear). I'd love a man who enjoys a good read (I recommend, among too many: The Time Traveler's Wife), someone who likes to cook, exercise & laugh. If you take yourself too seriously or are a sloth, we won't get along. I think that about covers things for now...

Anna baytootyeh, mostly - cooking and relaxing at home. Cinema and dinners out are always a lot of fun. Mostly, I chill out with mama and we watch Arabic television shows and I learn Syrian for fun, because the plot is always thicker and they've yet to make a musalsalah Falasteeniah.

Uhm. Not much, actually. Not because I think I can't be improved, but because I think the bits work well together on one level or another.

Nurturing and communication. Patience.

Arrogance and neglect of the mind and body. Just because you're getting on in life, it doesn't mean we should deny the sharpening of either. And just because you're all of a sudden involved with someone, it doesn't mean they will love you through the thick and thin of your thigh line. It's easiest to 'get', but harder to maintain the interest of someone...bla bla bla I can't remember the question...

Patience. (Nice arms and forearms are helpful, too. Any woman who tells you otherwise isn't telling you the truth...)
